Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro owners report screen blind spots - problem solved by rebooting
It's been a while since there has been news about problems with Google's next-generation smartphones. But now we're going to fix that.
Here's What We Know
Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro owners are reporting sudden display blind spots. The screens (or certain parts of the screens) of the smartphones stop responding to taps. The problem occurs suddenly, and sometimes several times a day.
One user writes that he uses protective glass, but activating / deactivating a special mode that increases the sensitivity of the sensor has no effect on the occurrence of blind spots. Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro owners have found three main ways to temporarily solve the problem:
- Lock and unlock the smartphone;
- Close all apps running in the background;
- Reboot the smartphone.
There has been no response from Google so far. Most likely, the problem can be solved with a software update.
