The AMX International is a tactical turbojet attack aircraft. The Italian companies Alenia Aerospazio and Aermacchi, together with the Brazilian company Embraer, developed it for the Italian Air Force in the 1980s. The first attack aircraft made its maiden flight in 1884. A total of 192 aircraft were produced: 155 single-seat and 37 twin-seaters. AMX International is now operated by the Italian and Brazilian Air Forces.

The Panavia Tornado is a European third-generation supersonic fighter jet. It was developed by Britain, Italy and West Germany. The aircraft first went into service in 1989. The Tornado was used by the Royal British Air Force, the Italian Air Force and the Royal Saudi Arabian Air Force during the 1991 Gulf War. It was also involved in operations in Kosovo, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Yemen and Syria. A total of around 1,000 aircraft were produced.
