Arkane Studios announces that more than 5 million gamers have played the shooter Deathloop

The first-person time loop shooter Deathloop was released in autumn 2021. The game has received mixed reviews from players, but the story of Colt has not escaped several million people.

Arkane Studios tweeted that 5 million gamers have played Deathloop since its launch. It is worth noting that Deathloop is available in the PlayStation Plus Extra and Xbox Game Pass libraries, so part of the audience was attracted to the game thanks to this.

Flashback

Deathloop is a first-person shooter by Arkane, the studio that created Dishonored and Prey. In the game, Colt and Juliana, two rival assassins, find themselves trapped in a mysterious time loop on the island of Blackreef. Now they are doomed to repeat the same day forever. The only chance of escape for Colt, the character players play as, is to complete the cycle by killing eight key targets before the day ends. If players fail to complete the task, they will have to live the day from the beginning.
