Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra: a dual-suspension electric scooter with a range of up to 70km for €1000

At today's launch at MWC 2023, Xiaomi unveiled not just gadgets, but also a new electric scooter model, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra.

According to the manufacturer, this is its first scooter with a dual suspension system that provides a comfortable and safe ride on rough roads. And Xiaomi's improved 10-inch DuraGel tyres feature enhanced durability and self-healing capability: if an object less than 3.5mm in diameter hits the wheel, the jelly-like layer quickly restores the tyre's shape.

The brushless motor has a peak output of 940W and enables the scooter to accelerate to 25kph and negotiate inclines of up to 25%. The lithium battery has a capacity of 561.5Wh, giving it a range of up to 70km on a single charge. It takes 6.5 hours with a 124 watt adapter to regain full power.

The scooter also features a high-strength aluminium alloy body, a wider and higher handlebar and a larger footrest, resulting in a weight capacity of up to 120 kg. The IP55 rating means the vehicle is unaffected by dust, splashes and rain.

The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra is already available for sale for €999.
