TCL 406 - budget smartphone with Android 13, NFC, stereo speakers and high-capacity battery for €110
TCL has unveiled a low-cost smartphone at MWC 2023. It is called the TCL 406 and is located in the device hierarchy just below the TCL 408, which was announced at CES 2023.
Here's What We Know
The novelty is equipped with a 6.6" HD+ IPS LCD display. The screen has a teardrop-shaped cutout that houses an 8MP selfie camera. The main camera has a resolution of 13 MP + 2 MP. It has got autofocus and Full HD support with a frame rate of 30 FPS.
The TCL 406 has an unknown 8-core processor with no 5G cellular support. The battery capacity was 5,000mAh. According to the manufacturer, the smartphone can work without recharging for 2 days.
The model got stereo speakers, a headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5, USB-C and a radio. The smartphone runs Android 13 operating system. There is no fast charging available.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The manufacturer's recommended price for the TCL 406 is €110. The new product is already available for purchase in Europe, and will soon appear in other regions.
