Lenovo unveils ThinkPad Z13 and Z16 Gen 2 laptops with Ryzen 7000 chips from €1649

Lenovo has unveiled a duo of interesting laptops based on the latest generation AMD processors at MWC 2023. They are called Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 and ThinkPad Z16 Gen 2.

Here's What We Know

The Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 gets a 13.3" IPS or OLED panel with a 13.8K diagonal. The Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 Gen 2 has an IPS or OLED display, but already 4K UHD and 16". Both panels support touch input.

The smaller newcomer is equipped with a 51.5Wh battery. The second laptop gets a 72Wh battery. AMD Ryzen 7000 processors with integrated Radeon graphics are responsible for the performance. The maximum RAM capacity is 64GB (LPDDR5X) and the SSD is 2TB.

Both models feature USB 4.0, headphone jack, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi 6E, FHD camera and support Windows Hello. The Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 gets 4G LTE cellular support. The 16" laptop additionally offers USB-C 3.2 Gen 2.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Sales of the laptops won't start until the second half of the year. The Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 will be available in July, priced from €1649, while the ThinkPad Z16 Gen 2 will be priced from €1959 and will hit the market in August.
