Rumour: Apple could unveil a new version of iPhone 14 next week
A number of MacRumors sources say that Apple's public relations team is planning some sort of launch briefing next week.
Here's What We Know
Meanwhile, Japanese blog Mac Otakara writes that Apple is planning to release the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus in yellow this spring. If this information is correct, it's likely that the new colouring will be unveiled at that very briefing.
This isn't surprising, as the company often adds new iPhone colours in the spring to boost sales in the middle of the production cycle. For example, Apple launched the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in magenta in April 2021, while last March it launched a new green colour for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini and a new Alpine Green colour for the iPhone 13 Pro models.
Apple last offered a yellow colour option for the iPhone 11 in 2019 and the iPhone XR in 2018.
