We recently wrote about how an FPV drone flew into the hatch of a Russian tank. Now a similar drone has been used to hit the TOS-1A Solntsepyok.
Here's What We Know
The Security Service of Ukraine's Special Operations Centre "A" used an FPV drone to engage the TOS-1A "Solntsepyok" heavy flamethrower system. If Russian propaganda is to be believed, it is the most powerful weapon in the Russian army's inventory, with the exception of nuclear weapons.

Soldiers of the Security Service's Special Operations Centre A burned down the Russian important Soncepcenok flamethrower system right at the moment of its salvo.

What's interesting is that the FPV drone was able to hit the Solntsepyok right during combat operations. The video shows the kamikaze drone flying into a bag of ammunition. By the way, the cost of a full salvo is up to $150,000.
The TOS-1A Solntsepyok have been in use since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. As of mid-February 2023, the Ukrainian Defence Forces have destroyed at least nine of the flamethrower systems and captured four more units.
