Game director of Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores game director talks about how PlayStation 5's capacity is helping with development
Game Director of Guerrilla Games, Mathijs de Jonge, spoke about the capacity of the PlayStation 5, which the studio uses to create the Horizon Forbidden West expansion: Burning Shores.
Here's What We Know
The development of the expansion pack exclusively for PlayStation 5 allowed the studio to make the post-post-apocalyptic version of Los Angeles more detailed, create stunning landscapes and add a large number of different game activities.
Matthijs also mentioned a mysterious battle in the game that requires a lot of computing power and was made possible thanks to PS5 hardware.
Flashback
The peculiarity of the expansion is that Eloy will spend a significant part of the game flying on the Sunwing, a machine that resembles a pterodactyl. In the previous part, 95% of the gameplay was available to us only on land, but here we will get a completely new gaming experience.
When We Can Expect It
Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores is scheduled for release on 19 April. It's available exclusively for PlayStation 5.
