Slovakia approves Soviet fighter jets for Ukraine, AFU will receive 13 MiG-29s
Slovakia will supply Ukrainian Armed Forces with Soviet-made MiG-29 fighters.
Here's What We Know
The information was shared by Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger. Information about the transfer of the planes surfaced last year, but the Slovak cabinet has approved the deliveries only now. A total of 13 aircraft will be delivered to Ukraine. So far there is no information on when the deliveries will start. Incidentally, apart from Slovakia, the Armed Forces will also receive MiG-29s from Poland. The first batch will be handed over to Ukraine in the next few days.
