Helio G99, 90Hz Super AMOLED display and 50MP camera with OIS - Samsung Galaxy A24 specs revealed
Samsung will update its Galaxy A range of smartphones this spring. The already announced Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G will soon be joined by the Samsung Galaxy A24. But without the 5G.
Here's What We Know
The smartphone will get a Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. The screen will have a diagonal of 6.6", a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. In the images, we can see that there is a drop cutout on the front and three vertical main camera modules on the back.
The main module will have a resolution of 50 MP. The strong point will be the presence of optical image stabilisation. The Samsung Galaxy A24 will also get a 2 MP sensor for macro photography, a 13 MP front camera and a 5 MP ultra-wide angle module.
At the heart of the smartphone there will be the Helio G99 chip. The single-chip system will be complemented by 4GB of RAM. The storage capacity will be 128 GB. The power subsystem will be represented by a 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
When To Expect It
The launch date and price of the Samsung Galaxy A24 has not yet been specified. The smartphone will go on sale with One UI 5.1 firmware based on the Android 13 operating system.
