Ukrainian Defence Minister shows US Stryker BMPs and Cougar armoured vehicles in service with AFU (video)
We have repeatedly written that the US has handed over Stryker infantry fighting vehicles and Cougar armoured vehicles to Ukraine. This has now been confirmed by Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov.
Here's What We Know
The minister has published a video on social networks with a demonstration of the equipment, which is in service with the Airborne Assault Troops. Reznikov did not disclose the number of weapons, but it is known that the USA promised to send to Ukraine 90 Stryker units and about 40 Cougar.

The Stryker is a family of wheeled armoured fighting vehicles produced by US company General Dynamics Land Systems. The Stryker is based on the Canadian LAV III armored personnel carrier, which is an upgraded version of the Swiss Piranha III 8×8 armored personnel carrier. The BMP has many modifications and has been produced since 2002.
The Cougar is an American mine-resistant, ambush-protected infantry transport vehicle. It is developed in South Africa. The vehicle comes in two modifications: 4×4 и 6×6. It accommodates up to 6 people and can reach 105 km/h.
