Who killed Sonic? SEGA releases free-to-play game The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog

Suddenly, in a very strange way, SEGA has released a new game about Sonic the Hedgehog - The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog. This point-and-click adventure takes you to Amy Rose's birthday party aboard the Mirage Express, where our blue hedgehog is suddenly found... dead.

It's a kind of April Fools' Day prank, but we have to give SEGA credit for not only creating the game itself, but also for publishing a special trailer for it and making it free for people to "enjoy".

The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog is distributed for free via Steam and is available on PC and MacOS.
