Warner Bros. has prepared a new streaming strategy. It will be officially announced next week. The concept will be based on the Harry Potter series.

Warner Bros. is close to a deal to create a TV series based on the books by writer Joanne Rowling. The company wants to shoot seven seasons, each focusing on one book.

According to Bloomberg, Joanne Rowling will be involved in the making of the show to ensure that the series is consistent with the books and the main plot. The publication reports that HBO program director Casey Bloys and Warner Bros. David Zaslav personally persuaded the writer.
