Not just Leopard 1: Netherlands and Denmark to give Ukraine 14 Leopard 2A4 tanks
The Netherlands, together with Denmark, will transfer not only Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine, but also the newer Leopard 2 models.
Here's What We Know
The Dutch Defence Minister Kajsa Ollongren announced this. We are talking about 14 combat vehicles in the Leopard 2A4 modification. They will be purchased from an unnamed country, modernized, and then sent to Ukraine. The purchase sum will be 165,000,000 euros. Unfortunately, it is not worth waiting for the tanks to be delivered in the near future. It is planned to hand them over to the Armed Forces only in 2024.

As for the Leopard 1, the first batch of tanks will arrive in Ukraine in late spring. A total of 80 such combat vehicles will be delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces this year. In 2024 about 20 vehicles will be delivered to Ukraine.
