Like the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro: Google Pixel 7a gets Face Unlock
Details about Google's new Pixel 7a smartphone keep surfacing online.
Here's What We Know
Insider @_snoopytech_ has posted images of the device on Twitter. In one of the renders, you can notice that the gadget will not only get a sub-screen fingerprint scanner, but also a Face Unlock feature that will unlock the device using a facial scan. The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones have similar technology. It is powered by the front-facing camera and Google's special algorithms.

In terms of specs, the Pixel 7a will get an OLED screen with an increased refresh rate of up to 90Hz. Apart from that, the novelty will have the proprietary Tensor G2 processor, a 50 MP dual main camera and a 25W battery with charging support.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Pixel 7a will be unveiled at the Google I/O 2023 conference in early May. The smartphone will cost $499 in the US.
