AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D self-destructed and lost ASUS X670 motherboard
A few weeks ago the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor went on sale and immediately became very popular. However, one lucky owner reported that the chip burned out and destroyed the motherboard along the way.

A month ago, users started reporting the AMD Ryzen 79750X3D processor that was running on an ASUS board with AM5 socket. Our hero was also running on such a board - ASUS ROG STRIX X670-E.
When the computer owner took the system apart, he saw that the CPU had blown up. The motherboard socket showed signs of burn-in. There is no information about overclocking and voltage increase.
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is an 8-core 16-core processor with a maximum speed of 5GHz and a standard TDP of 120W. The chip is made on 5nm TSMC FinFET technology. The processor has integrated Radeon graphics at up to 2.2GHz. The cost of the chip is $450.
