POCO F5 unveiled - Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, 120Hz display, 64MP camera, NFC and Android 13 and MIUI 14
Xiaomi has unveiled the POCO F5 smartphone. It is the global version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which was recently announced in China.
Here's What We Know
The smartphone is equipped with a Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The diagonal is 6.67". The panel has a 32 MP cutout for the front camera and a built-in fingerprint scanner.
The POCO F5 has a new mid-range Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. This chip allows the Redmi Note 12 Turbo to top the AnTuTu ranking of the most powerful smartphones in its price segment for two months.
The primary camera resolution is 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP. It doesn't have a telephoto lens, but has optical and electronic image stabilisation. You can shoot video in 4K UHD, but the frame rate is limited to 30 FPS.
The POCO F5 has a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. A 67W power adapter will be included. The novelty also has NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, a headphone jack and stereo speakers.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The POCO F5 will go on sale in white, blue and black body colours. Prices will be announced tomorrow, May 9. The POCO F5 in 8/256GB and 12/256GB variants is expected to cost €379 and €399 respectively. The smartphone will go on sale with the MIUI 14 Android 13 firmware.
