Google Pixel Tablet - Tensor G2, IPS display, stylus support and 27Wh battery from $499
At the Google I/O conference, the US company announced a new tablet along with the Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold smartphones. It's called the Pixel Tablet.
Here's What We Know
The device features an LCD IPS display with brightness up to 500 nits, a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and stylus support. The diagonal is 10.95". Above the screen, there is an 8 MP front-facing camera. The main module, too, has a resolution of 8 MP.
Like the other new products, the Google Pixel Tablet gets a 5nm Tensor G5 processor. The chip is complemented by 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The UFS 3.1 storage has a capacity of 128GB or 256GB, depending on the variant.
According to the manufacturer, the tablet can run for up to 12 hours of video playback. It is equipped with a 27Wh battery for this purpose. A docking station with a 15W speaker is connected to the device.
The Google Pixel Tablet gets USB-C, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5 and four speakers. The dimensions are 258 x 169 x 8.1mm and the weight is almost 500g. The novelty runs on the Android 13 operating system and will receive updates for five years.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The tablet is already on sale in grey, pink and gold body colours. The 8/128GB and 8/256GB variants are priced at $499 / €679 / £599 and $599 / €799 / £699 respectively.
