New Mortal Kombat reboot to be released only on modern platforms - insider reveals first details of fighting game
Yesterday, NetherRealm studio released a teaser for the new Mortal Kombat game, after which there were a lot of questions.
Today, reputable insider billbil-kun, who regularly shares reliable information, has revealed the first details of the new fighting game.
Here's What We Know
According to billbil-kun, the game will not be called Mortal Kombat 12, but Mortal Kombat 1, but that was hinted at by the clock hand in the teaser, which missed the number 12.
Gamers are probably in for another reboot of the franchise.
Mortal Kombat 1 will reportedly be released on PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Switch.
The game will be priced in different editions:
- Standard: $69.99 (PS5, XB) / $59.99 (Switch)
- Premium: $109.99
- Collector's Edition: $249.99 (PS5, XB)/

When We Can Expect It
Mortal Kombat 12's release date is unknown, but back in February, Warner Bros. Discovery's David Zaslav mentioned that the fighting game will be out before the end of 2023.
The game is likely to be unveiled at the upcoming PlayStation Showcase.
