Turkish Otokar Cobra II armoured vehicles received by AFU

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have started using Turkish Otokar Cobra II armoured vehicles.

Here's What We Know

A video with three such vehicles in the hands of the AFU has been published on social networks. Interestingly, no one has officially announced the transfer of the vehicles. It is also unknown how many Otokar Cobra IIs Ukraine received.

Flashback

Cobra II is the Turkish all-wheel drive 4x4 armored fighting vehicle. It is produced by the Otokar company. The design of the vehicle began in 1994. In 1995 the American company AM General got involved to the project. The truck was created with components from an armored SUV HMMWV.
