Ukrainian artillerymen destroy two Russian 2S5 Giatsint-S self-propelled 152mm guns
Today we wrote about the destruction of the Russian 2C4 Tyulpan self-propelled mortar. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have also destroyed the 2C5 Giatsint-S (Hyacinth-S) gun. And two of them at once.
Here's What We Know
Both 2S5 Giatsint-S guns were destroyed in Zaporizhzhya region. This was done by servicemen of the 44th separate artillery brigade named after Hetman Daniil Apostol.

The 2S5 Giatsint-S is a 152 mm self-propelled gun. It can be fired at distances of 8-33 km. In addition to the 2A37 semi-automatic gun, it is equipped with PKT machine gun of 7.62 mm caliber.
The 2S5 Giatsint-S has a tracked chassis. The combat vehicle is equipped with a 520 horsepower engine. The self-propelled gun is capable of reaching a speed of almost 63 km/h and has a range of about 500 km.
