Flashback
Warmate is a bomblet munition from the WM Group company in Poland. It was created in 2012, but it only gained popularity in 2020 after drones demonstrated their effectiveness in the Karabakh war. Warmate has a wingspan of 1.6m and weighs 5.7kg. The hovering munition is launched from a small pneumatic catapult. The kamikaze drone is electrically powered and invisible to the enemy. Its flight altitude is 150-300 m and its target range is 10 km. The bomber's maximum attack flight speed can reach 150 km/h, and its cruising speed is 80 km/h. The drone's warhead weighs about 1.5kg. Incidentally, the AFU has been using the Warmate since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion.
