Ukrainian Armed Forces seize notorious Russian Supercam S350 reconnaissance drone

Following the Eleron-3, which we wrote about recently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have managed to seize another Russian drone. This time it is the notorious Supercam S350.

The published photo makes it possible to assess the huge dimensions of the drone. If we believe the manufacturer, the wingspan is 3.2 meters. As we can see, the drone has a 'flying wing' aerodynamic scheme.

The Supercam S350 is an unmanned aerial system designed for surveillance and reconnaissance. The drone can fly for 4-5 hours and reaches speeds of up to 120 km/h. It has a radio range of up to 70-100km and a video range of 50-100km.

The drone has a range of 240 km. The Supercam S350 is capable of flying up to 5km in the sky. Deployment time of the aircraft system is 15 minutes. The maximum take-off weight is 12kg.

The Supercam S350 uses an air or elastic catapult for launch and a parachute for landing. During flight, the drone can withstand wind speeds of up to 15m/s. The drone can also be used in moderate rain and snowfall. The temperature range is -40 to +45 degrees Celsius.
