Total War developers may be creating a strategy set in ancient Egypt with the subtitle Pharaoh

British studio Creative Assembly may be working on a Total War strategy game set in ancient Egypt.

Here's What We Know

On the developer's website, attentive Reddit forum users found mention of an unannounced Total War: Pharaoh game. Note that the game's name was removed from the Total War website shortly after its publication, but a screenshot remained.

The developers have not hinted at the possibility of releasing such a project, but given the huge variety of their games' setting and the many requests from gamers to release Total War about Egypt, it is likely that the official announcement of Pharaoh will take place soon.
