US announces new military aid package for Ukraine: missiles for Patriot SAMs, ammunition for HIMARS, AT-4 grenade launchers and Avenger SAMs

The United States has announced a 39-month military aid package for Ukraine's Armed Forces.

Here's What We Know

The new package is for $300,000,000 includes:

• Additional ammunition for Patriot air defence systems;
• AIM-7 missiles for air defence;
• Avenger air defence systems;
• Stinger air defence systems;
• Additional ammunition for HIMARS MLRS;
• 155mm and 105mm artillery rounds;
• 105 mm tank ammunition;
• High-precision aviation ammunition;
• Zuni aviation missiles;
• Ammunition for unmanned aerial systems;
• AT-4 anti-tank systems;
• More than 30 million rounds of small arms ammunition;
• Demining equipment and systems;
• Demolition ammunition; Obstacle disposal ammunition;
• Night vision equipment;
• Spare parts, generators and other field equipment.

Deliveries of armaments will commence shortly.
