Ukraine's air defence system successfully repelled another Russian air attack on the night of 1-2 June.

Here's What We Know

According to the Air Force Command of UA, the attack took place in two waves. Around 23:00, Russia launched 21 Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones at Ukraine. The UAVs approached from a southerly direction, using the terrain and the Dnieper riverbed.

Around 3 a.m., the second wave began, which included 15 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles. They were fired by Tu-95 strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea. The attack was aimed at Kyiv. Thanks to the work of air defence forces, all air targets were destroyed.
