Ukrainian drones fire 40 × 53 grenade launcher rounds and burn a Russian BMP-1 worth $200,000
A Russian BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle has been destroyed by drones. The Ukrainian Armed Forces liquidated it in Donetsk Region.

The 110th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was responsible for the destruction of the BMP-1. Unmanned aerial vehicles dropped several 40 × 53 grenade launcher rounds on the infantry fighting vehicle.

Since February 24, 2022, more than 380 cases of BMP-1 losses by the Russian army have been documented. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have managed to destroy over 240 infantry fighting vehicles. Several dozen more vehicles have been captured.
