Apple has dropped the price of the 13-inch MacBook Air with M2 chip

Apple, following the release of the 15-inch MacBook Air at WWDC 2023, has dropped the price of the basic model of the device.

Here's What We Know

So, the laptop can now be bought in the US for $1099 (instead of $1199). We're talking about the base version of the device with an M2 octa-core chip, octa-core graphics, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD drive. The version with the ten-core GPU costs $1199 (instead of $1299).

The 13-inch MacBook Air with the M2 chip debuted last year. The laptop has a Retina display with a "monobrow", MagSafe magnetic charging and a 1080p camera.
