The Marder is an infantry fighting vehicle developed in the second half of the 1960s by Rheinmetall. The German manufacturer is ready to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces with another 60 vehicles, but first it will have to be repaired.
The infantry fighting vehicle is equipped with the 20 mm Mk20 DM5 Rh202 cannon and 7.62 mm MG3 machine gun. The Marder is powered by a 600 horsepower diesel engine. The 1A3 version has a top speed of 65 km/h and a cruising range of up to 600 km.
