Xbox Game Studios has revealed a new game from Stoic Studio - Towerborne, a side-scrolling co-op RPG
Towerborne is the next game from Banner Saga developer Stoic Studio:
In the game, up to four players will take on the role of ace knights sent from the titular tower to protect it from a crisis that threatens all of humanity. Players will have the opportunity to divide their time between fighting enemies and exploring the world surrounding the tower, known as the Belfry.

In an interview with Xbox Wire, the developers revealed some details that could not be conveyed in the trailer shown at the Xbox Showcase. The game combines elements of classic beat 'em ups with RPGs, giving players the ability to customise their character both visually and practically. They will be able to choose their character's appearance, weapons, armour and abilities.
Aces will have access to four battle styles: warsticks, gauntlets, dual daggers, and swords with shields. Each style can be customised and can also be played with any other style, so players will not be limited to choosing partners for cooperation.
When We Can Expect It
Towerborne will be available on Xbox Series S and PC in 2024.
