"There are no plans to close Arkane Austin at this time," says the head of Xbox Game Studios

After the frankly disastrous launch of Redfall, many people have probably started to think that Microsoft might close Arkane Austin because of this. Axios asked the head of Xbox Game Studios Matt Booty about this, and he replied that there are no such plans at the moment:

"They are hard at work on updates and continued content for Redfall".

After several postponements, the Xbox exclusive was released last month and, as expected, had a lot of technical problems, which is why it received low scores on Metacritic: 35 points in the Xbox version and 52 points in the PC version.

On Monday, the developers released the first major patch for the game, where they partially fixed or improved almost every aspect of the game.
