Immortals of Aveum takes 30-40 hours to complete: creator of 'magic shooter' reveals new details of his project
Ascendent Studios founder and director Bret Robbins has given an interview to Xbox Wire in which he shares some details about the "magical shooter" Immortals of Aveum.
Bret Robbins has previously worked on large-scale projects such as Call of Duty, Dead Space, Lord of the Rings and James Bond, but always wanted to get involved with his own game. Immortals of Aveum will be the debut project of his team of one hundred people.
Here's What We Know
Immortals of Aveum is a single-player story-based shooter in which firearms are replaced by magical spells and abilities (the concept is similar to Ghostwire: Tokyo).
The game's creator has revealed that it will take 30 to 40 hours for players to complete Immortals of Aveum with all the extra quests and activities.
Although the trailers focus on the compact and spectacular locations, Bret Robbins promises that in Immortals of Aveum the players will visit several spacious and open areas to explore. Moreover, some of these will only be unlocked after gaining certain skills and items.
When We Can Expect It
Immortals of Aveum will be released on July 20 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
