Enthusiast overclocks the GPU in an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card to a record 3.93GHz
Overclocker CENS was one step away from overclocking the GeForce RTX 4090 GPU to 4GHz. But in the end, he managed to set a record.
Here's What We Know
NVIDIA's flagship graphics card of the Ada Lovelace generation has a GPU with a factory maximum speed of 2.52 GHz. The model has good overclocking potential, which CENS overclocker took advantage of.

The enthusiast overclocked the GPU to 3,825 MHz late last year. The other day he managed to set a new record. On a system using the Z790 chipset, an Intel Core i9-13900K and 32GB of DDR-4300 RAM, the overclocker was able to push the GPU to 3930MHz.
This result was obtained in the GPUPI test of the Colourful iGame RTX 4090 LAB graphics card. During the test, the graphics chip speed oscillated between 2625.5 MHz and 3930 MHz for 46.383 seconds.
