Nintendo talks about Wave 5 in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

At the Nintendo Direct held on Wednesday, Nintendo announced the details of the Booster Course Pass Wave 5 for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe:

Here's What We Know

The promotional trailer showed a new course called Squeaky Clean Sprint. In addition, the trailer reveals three new characters that will appear in the game: Petey Piranha, known from Mario Kart: Double Dash, Wiggler from Mario Kart 7, and Kamek from Mario Kart Tour.

The Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will be available for $24.99 / £24.99. It will include 48 additional tracks divided into six waves, all of which will be released by the end of 2023.

When We Can Expect It

Wave 5 is scheduled to launch sometime this summer.
