Pikmin 1 + 2 will be available on physical media on September 22, - Nintendo announces

Nintendo has announced that the updated HD versions of Pikmin and Pikmin 2 will have a physical release.

During the Nintendo Direct, it was announced that both classic GameCube titles will receive enhanced HD graphics and will be available for purchase immediately for $29.99 / £24.99 each. However, Nintendo also announced that both games will receive a physical release on 22nd of September. The collection, called Pikmin 1 + 2, will contain both titles in one package:

"Explore the unique world of Pikmin and its strategic gameplay in this exciting series...," Nintendo said in its description of the games, "both games will also support additional motion controls to give you more options when controlling your flower friends.
