Weighing 226kg and over 2m high: a blogger has made the world's biggest iPhone, and it works!
YouTube's Matthew Beem, who loves making huge record-breaking things, has created a real monster - a giant iPhone, which is the world's largest working smartphone.
Details
The record-breaker is over 2 metres tall, weighs as much as 226kg and has a screen diagonal of 84 inches. At the heart of the device is a TV, which has been turned into a touchscreen, and a Mac mini computer. The blogger has even managed to create a functional user interface that looks similar to iOS. He repeated the button layout, home screen layout, and added standard and third-party apps.
After that, Mat took the iPhone around New York City for a few days, taking it down the underground, paying for purchases, and then showing his creation to MKBHD, a well-known tech blogger. The blogger gives the product an 8 out of 10 rating - he says he would have given it a 9 if only the iPhone could trigger Siri.
