OPPO launches OPPO A78 4G: Low-cost smartphone with 90Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 680 chip and 50MP camera

OPPO is working on a new budget A-series smartphone.

According to the leak, the device will be called OPPO A78 4G. The novelty will hit the market in two colours: Misty Black and Aqua Green. The gadget will get a 6.43-inch display with AMOLED matrix, 2400×1080p resolution and 90Hz refresh rate, as well as an IP54 protected body OPPO will install a 5000 mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC charging in the smartphone. The gadget will charge from 0 to 76% in 30 minutes.

Powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the novelty is expected to run. It will be expandable with a microSD card up to 1TB if desired. As for the cameras, there should be three in the novelty: a 50 MP + 2 MP milked main camera and a single 13 MP front-facing one.

Out of the box OPPO A78 4G will get Android 13 operating system with ColorOS 13.1 shell. The smartphone will be released in the near future.
