The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the best game of the first half of 2023 according to Metacritic

The aggregator Metacritic has summed up the first half of 2023 and named the most highly rated games.

The selection includes only newly released games, as well as remasters and remakes that differ significantly from the original.

Only the version with the highest number of reviews was taken for the ranking.

The undisputed leader was The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom with 96 points out of 100. It is followed by Metroid Prime Remastered with 94 points (also from Nintendo), followed by the Resident Evil 4 remake with 93 points.
