Red Dead Redemption remaster to be? According to media reports, Rockstar Games is aware of gamers' interest in an updated version of the cult game and may be working on it
Rumours of a Red Dead Redemption remaster, or perhaps a full-fledged remake, regularly appear online.
A few days ago, the South Korean review board gave a new age rating to the iconic western from Rockstar Games. Usually such events happen for a reason, and they indicate that the developer is preparing the re-release of the game, as we are talking about a new project, and not about renewing the rating of the old game.
It is quite logical that the news about the new age rating of RDR excited the fans of the gangster action, that have been waiting for its release on the modern platforms for so many years.
Here's What We Know
According to the Kotaku portal, Rockstar Games is well aware of the gamers' desire to get their favorite game on modern platforms with improved graphics, so there is less and less doubt that the developers will release the updated version of Red Dead Redemption.
In the fall of 2022 "screenshots of the cancelled Red Dead Redemption remaster" appeared on the web, and the new information may indicate that it either hasn't been cancelled or its development started anew.
Well, don't get excited ahead of time and wait for official information from Rockstar.
