LCG Auctions wants to sell a rare first-generation iPhone with 4GB of memory in factory packaging for $100,000
On 29 June 2007, Apple unveiled the first generation iPhone. Sixteen years later, the smartphone in its factory packaging is available at auction.

The first iPhones were sold only with 4GB of memory, and only in time did Apple start shipping versions with double the amount of storage. LCG Auctions offers exactly the version with 4GB of storage.
The first-generation iPhone with 4GB of storage cost $499 at the time of its premiere. Organizers of the auction state that the smartphone is rare because the production of this modification stopped a few months after the start of sales.
No bids for the lot are being accepted at the moment. Bidding will open in a few hours. The starting price will be $10,000. LCG Auctions wants to sell the original iPhone with 4GB of internal memory for $50,000-100,000. Two first-generation iPhones were previously auctioned for $63,000 and $40,000.
