Fans managed to get access to gameplay footage from the cancelled Project CARS 4

Slightly Mad Studios has developed several relatively successful Project CARS car simulation games and was already working on the next instalment, but last November, Electronic Arts, which owns Codemasters parent company Slightly Mad Studios, announced the cancellation of all future Project CARS developments, effectively cancelling the next instalment.

Despite the fact that the future of the franchise is unclear, recently, loyal fans have gained some insight into what Project CARS 4 might look like.

Here's What We Know

A new video posted on YouTube channel Game Over Tapes shows some early concepts of the in-game 3D user interface that was created for Project CARS 4 before its cancellation, probably by artist Christian McMorran.

After announcing plans to abandon the Project CARS franchise last year, neither EA nor Slightly Mad Studios has said anything about what the latter will continue to work on.
