Xiaomi 14 flagships will get higher-capacity batteries and fast charging with up to 120W

The next-generation flagship Xiaomi 14 will have increased battery capacity compared to the Xiaomi 13 models. This was reported by Chinese insider Digital Chat Station.

Here's What We Know

The battery capacity of the Xiaomi 14 will be 4,860mAh. The Pro version will get a 5,000mAh battery. Both smartphones will support 50W wireless charging, which is a record because of restrictions imposed by Chinese regulators. The wired charging capacity will be 90W and 120W respectively.

It should be noted that the capacity will increase slightly compared to the current generation flagships. For comparison, the Xiaomi 13 is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery, while the Pro version has 4,820mAh. That said, the standard edition only supports 67W of charging power.

The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro will be announced in late 2023. They will be the first or one of the first flagships on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. In addition, both smartphones will get the MIUI 15 Android 14 firmware.
