CAESAR howitzer accurately destroys Russian BM-27 Uragan multiple launch rocket system

The Ukrainian Defence Forces are actively using French-made CAESAR self-propelled artillery systems. A video of the destruction of the Russian BM-27 Uragan multiple rocket launcher has recently emerged.

Here's What We Know

Ukraine received CAESAR howitzers from France last year. Artillery systems on Tatra 8x8 chassis from Denmark have recently arrived in the country. At the end of last month, the Defence Minister showed a video of the CAESAR arrival, and footage of the combat use was published on social media.

As for the new video, it was shot by the 47th Independent Artillery Brigade. The video was published by the Land Forces of Ukraine. The location of the multiple-launch rocket system was detected using an unmanned aerial vehicle. According to Oryx analysts, the Russian army has lost at least 59 BM-27 Uragan units in 16 months.
