Nintendo has released an update for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that fixes issues and bugs related to the game's main and side quests, but it also added the ability to get free items at the beginning of the game for reading certain articles on Switch News.

It's worth noting that access to these items may vary depending on the month and your progress in the game, so keep that in mind. In terms of fixes, players will now be able to pass by A Mystery in the Depths and Secret of the Ring Ruins both in the main story and during side adventures such as Hateno Village Research Lab and Lurelin Village Restoration Project. Also fixed was an issue where fairies would not appear in certain environments, even though they should have been present initially.

Along with changes in Kiana's food under certain conditions, several other issues have also been resolved to improve the gaming experience.
