PixelJunk Eden 2 platformer to be released for PlayStation later this year
It has been announced that the platformer PixelJunk Eden 2 will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 later this year.
Here's What We Know
This was announced by the CEO of the development studio Q-Games, Dylan Cuthbert, on the PlayStation Blog. The PS5 version of Eden 2 will have full 4K graphics and use the unique features of the DualSense controller:
"In PixelJunk Eden 2 the DualSense light bar reacts to changes in the current level, creating your very own personal light show for each unique environment. We’ve also utilised the gyro sensor to provide precision control and collecting pollen rewards you with dynamic vibrations to mark your achievements."
PixelJunk Eden 2 was released on Nintendo Switch in 2020 and has remained exclusive to the platform ever since. However, the entire first series of PixelJunk games - Racers, Monsters, Eden, Shooter, Shooter 2, SideScroller, 4am, and Nom Nom Galaxy - were released from 2007 to 2015 and were exclusive to PlayStation consoles at the time of release, with some later receiving PC ports.
