WRC 23 is delayed, but the release is still scheduled for this year, - an insider says
Starting this year, the licence for WRC was officially transferred to Codemasters, and in recent months, there was information that the project would be released in the near future. Later, in May, an insider billbil-kun reported that the game was scheduled for release on 28 July, but it seems that the project will be released much later.
Here's What We Know
In his new post on Dealabs, billbil-kun claims that WRC 23 will be delayed. The reason for this is not disclosed, but it is indicated that the game will be released later this year, probably closer to November.
Another interesting thing to note is that WRC 23 will be the first game from Codemasters to bypass the previous generation of consoles and will be available only on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5. The game will be available in two versions: Standard Edition and Champions Edition. The latter will include the first five seasons of the game after release, in addition to the basic experience.
