Nintendo has released a new trailer for the action-adventure RTS Pikmin 4, which introduces us to plant-like creatures:

The trailer demonstrates the unique features of different types of pikmin, including the strong and fire-resistant red pikmin, as well as the electrical abilities of yellow pikmin.

Flashback

In Pikmin 4, players take on the role of a new customisable character and embark on a mission to rescue Captain Olimar and his rescue corps, who have crash-landed on an unfamiliar planet.

To achieve this goal, they will be assisted by the pycnids, an obedient plant-like race that enjoys lifting heavy objects and bravely fights giant monsters to protect their alien friends.

When We Can Expect It

Pikmin 4 will be released on 21 July exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
