GeForce RTX 4080 price drops below $1000 for first time since launch - graphics cards drop in US, Europe and China
Graphics card prices continue to drop. Recently, European retailers began slashing the price of the GeForce RTX 4060 just five days after the launch. Meanwhile, the GeForce RTX 4080 costs less than $1000 for the first time.
Here's What We Know
The price of the graphics card has broken the psychological mark purely formally. Yes, the price of the GeForce RTX 4080 has indeed dropped below $1000 for the first time since the launch. But now the video card costs $999.99. MSI's Ventus series model is available for that money.
The manufacturer's recommended price for the GeForce RTX 4080 in the US was $1199. A drop of $200 means that the price has dropped by 16.6%. In other regions the graphics card became more affordable than at the start of sales as well.
In Europe, the official price is €1329, but now the GeForce RTX 4080 can be bought for €1159, a 12.7% lower price. In China, the price has dropped from ¥9499 to ¥8199, a 13.7% drop.
