OnePlus Open foldable smartphone will be based on OPPO Find N2
OnePlus is preparing to unveil its first foldable smartphone - OnePlus Open. And while official details are quite scarce, information about the future novelty continues to reveal insiders.
Here's What We Know
According to well-known insider Max Jambor (Max Jambor), OnePlus Open is likely to be based on OPPO Find N2. Of course, that doesn't mean it will completely copy the design and specs, but it will adopt the OPPO Find N2 form factor. That is, we can expect approximately the same size and weight. By the way, this is quite logical, as the Find N2 is only available in China, while the OnePlus Open will be introduced in the international market.
According to leaks, OnePlus Open will be equipped with two displays: the main one with a diagonal of 7.8 inches and a resolution of 2K, as well as an additional one at 6.3 inches. Both panels will have an AMOLED-matrix with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The smartphone should be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The gadget will be powered by a 4800 mAh battery with 67W charging support. Cameras in the novelty will be four: triple main 48 MP + 48 MP + 64 MP and single frontal 32 MP.
According to the insider, the presentation of OnePlus Open will be held on 29 August.
